The Parley Global Cleanup Network is an alliance of organizations working together to protect marine environments from the threat of plastic pollution. Through collaborative cleanups, we intercept plastic waste from beaches, remote islands, rivers, mangroves, high seas, and in coastal communities. Parley cleanup collaborators and volunteers share our vision for solutions and champion the Parley AIR Strategy.
Parley Indonesia is working in collaboration with more than 16 local organizations and around 8 different islands in order to organize cleanups and champion education initiatives across the country. Indonesia is known for its natural beauty and eco-tourism, yet faces a serious threat on all fronts due to plastic pollution.

Upacara Besar Segara Kertih
Upacara Besar Segara Kertih is a ceremony to keep the ocean in peace and in balance that happens in Bali every 25 years. This year was a very historical moment because it was the first year that plastic infiltrated the tradition, bringing up the issue of this threat, and requiring cleanup efforts after the event.
As part of our global Parley AIR (Avoid, Intercept, Redesign) strategy, Parley is leading education initiatives with Indonesian youth.
Youth Climate Strike
On March 15th 2019 more than 1.6 million students all over the world took the streets to protest the lack of meaningful action by politicians and decision-makers when it comes to climate change.
